Smooth Manual Grinding with Natural Corundum Stones

The El Canto is equipped with specially shaped natural corundum grinding stones made from Naxos basalt in a magnesite salt bond. Combined with a ball-bearing grinding stone axle, the mill is designed for smooth, efficient cranking and a high rotation speed with less effort.

The self-centering conical grinding system works reliably and requires no cleaning after normal use, making the mill practical for everyday home milling.

Stepless Adjustment from Coarse Meal to Fine Flour

The milling fineness can be adjusted continuously using the integrated setting scale. This allows you to prepare anything from coarse grain meal for muesli to fine whole grain flour for baking bread, rolls, pancakes, pastries, and other homemade recipes.

With an output of approx. 100 g/min / 3.5 oz/min for coarse meal and approx. 50 g/min / 1.8 oz/min for fine wheat flour, the El Canto offers strong performance for a compact hand-operated grain mill.

Solid Beech Wood Body with Natural Finish

The housing is made from solid FSC- and PEFC-certified beech wood. The surface is treated with Auro beeswax balm and polished to a smooth, silky finish. This gives the mill a warm, natural appearance while protecting the wood for long-lasting use.

The ergonomic crank handle sits comfortably in the hand, while the included two metal table clamps provide secure attachment to table tops up to approx. 5 cm / 2 in thick.

Suitable for Grains, Food-Grade Corn, and Oilseeds

The Kornkraft El Canto is suitable for grinding all common grains, including wheat, rye, spelt, barley, oats, rice, buckwheat, and food-grade corn. It can also process oilseeds when mixed with grain. It is not suitable for popcorn corn.
