The Walman Professional Manual Nutcracker is a robust hand-operated cracking machine designed for efficient nut processing at home, on farms, or in small-scale professional production. It is suitable for cracking walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, acorns, chestnuts, and similar nuts with an average size between 10 and 50 mm / approx. 0.4 and 2.0 in.

This product is available in two versions: the compact Walman Junior and the larger Walman Standard. Both models are designed for simple operation, reliable cracking performance, and durable use in seasonal or regular nut processing.

Junior or Standard - Which Version Should You Choose?

The Walman Junior is the smaller model and is ideal for users who process moderate quantities of nuts and prefer a compact machine. It can process up to approx. 15 kg / 33 lb per hour and is suitable for walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, acorns, chestnuts, and similar nuts.

The Walman Standard is the larger model and is designed for higher output. It can process up to approx. 30 kg / 66 lb per hour and requires around 20% less hand force compared with the smaller Junior version. The Standard model also includes an adjustment scale, making it easier to set the machine for different nut sizes.

Performance Notes

• For walnuts, the share of perfectly cracked halves is usually approx. 10-20%, and with good-quality nuts up to approx. 50%
• For hazelnuts, the share of whole kernels can reach approx. 80%
• Results may vary depending on nut type, size, dryness, and shell quality

Recommended Accessories

For best results, nuts should be sorted by size before cracking. Optional accessories such as walnut calibrators, hazelnut sieves, walnut sieves, outlet chutes, and shell separators can help improve workflow and post-processing. A shell blower can be used to separate lightweight shells from kernels after cracking.
